Vasilis Lolos is an artist I have admired for a few years. His drawing style is similar to that of Paul Pope and Mike Mignola (especially his earlier work). What I like most is his use of colours that you wouldn’t see in ‘typical’ comics.
He has a blog which is great as it’s full of sketches, and he also has an account on deviantART which has some amazing work on it also.
The above images are from Issue one of The Pirates of Coney Island (I think Issue 4 is out now) and were appropriated from Newsarama were you can check out most of Issue 1.
